Burnley FC makes progress related to its kit clash

July 8, 2020

Last 7th July 2020, Burnley FC has produced a fourth kit playing its game against West Ham with white football shirts. In the past, the club has been targeted on social media channel for kit clash regarding colour blind community. Regarding this problem of kit clash, the club reacted.

This practice can show to other clubs that it is always possible to avoid potential kit clash making the game accessible to everyone. Related to our project, we highlight this awareness as good practice.

A first step for colour blind people, a strong example for other football and sport organisations.
